Staged at Goldsmiths MFA in 2017

Four women read aloud the comments from a group WhatsApp conversation of female friends from their phones for the duration of the gallery opening hours.  The women stand among several metal poles smeared with paint, which could fall over. A tablet leaning against the wall on the floor, and a phone held up by one of the performers, display silent footage (on loop) of two naked women pushing and pulling the metal poles through the creases of their painted bodies in a semi-choreographed/ semi-spontaneous ritualistic routine.
